Who we are and what we do.

This is the official website of Teamsters Local 701 in North Brunswick New Jersey. Chartered 1952, we have a long and proud heritage of representing New Jersey Teamsters in numerous industries. We take pride in our Union and it’s members and will fight for a living wage for all Americans.

We are a proud family of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, with 1.4 million members, and is one of the largest labor unions in the world. It is also the most diverse union in the U.S.

Our staff is made up of hard working men and women who know workers rights. Our Executive board are members from our very own industries we represent, providing experience and knowledge needed for standing up to employers.

We stand up for our members in the workplace, legislative, political, and social landscapes.

Our Message to you is that you're never alone as long as you're part of a Union. When you are part of a Union you are never discounted as just a single employee.  As a Union member, you are supported by the strength of over eighteen hundred Local 701 members, and the 1.4 Million Teamster International membership. When you have strength in numbers, your Union can advocate for better pay, better benefits and better working conditions on the job, and also advocate for political and legislative goals that protect and improve the rights and benefits for all workers.
